Open Kitchen: Something your Great Grandmother Would Eat
In honor of Día de los Muertos, this month we focus on the food wisdom of our ancestors and how it gets carried on through the generations. To help spark discussion, please bring a dish to share that your great grandmother would eat. This event will feature the short films of special guest filmmaker Helen DeMichiel from lunchlovecommunity.org. It will be an exciting Open Kitchen with films, food & fun!
This activity is part of The Peoples Cook’s 28 Days of Good Energía, a project of Creative Capital. Visit ThePeoplesCook.org for more information. Open Kitchen is supported by The America Project, a program of MAPP International Productions with funding from The Nathan Cummings Foundation.
